From the team behind Fhior restaurant, Root to Market was conceived by a group of professional chefs, sommeliers, waiters, and managers who have spent years working in some of the UK’s best restaurants.
Root to Market was set up as a response to the sudden closure of the hospitality sector amid the COVID-19 crisis, to support the local produce suppliers. Creating a safe and convenient public alternative to supermarkets was central to this vision.
Root to Market is working hard to become an important and sustainable link between producers and the public, delivering some of the country’s best produce – which would usually be reserved for the UK’s best restaurants – straight to your door. Freshly made pastas, foraged seasonal produce, and the finest butcher’s cuts are just some of what Root to Market has to offer.
