Kimchi Cult began life as a food stall in London’s burgeoning street food scene in 2011, before moving to Scotland and opening a bricks and mortar location in the West End of Glasgow in 2015.
For the past 10 years Kimchi Cult have championed Korean Food in the UK, and have enjoyed being part of a movement which has seen Korean Food grow from a curious Eastern speciality to a major force in restaurants and menus around the world.
The key ingredient, kimchi, is handcrafted to a special Jeonju regional recipe, passed down through generations of Korean matriarchs or ajjumas, through their Korean food mentor, Myung Ja Ahn of Shinbengi Restaurant.
Just like traditional Korean cooking, you’ll find fermented vegetables, pickles and flavours balanced by five colours and five tastes. This Korean-Style Fast Food menu is a mix of Western and Korean flavours and influences which includes Kimchi Burgers, Real French Fries, Korean Fried Chicken and Bibimbap, and we have an extensive range of Vegan options.
